Membership is About Investing in the MVM's Mission!

From the Museum's founding in 1922, the support of dedicated members has been crucial to the growth of the organization, the fulfillment of its mission, and in the establishment of a shared strategic vision. Determined to preserve the history of the Island, members have contributed to the MVM through the decades by the volunteering of their time, by the donation of family papers, rare photographs, and artifacts, and through their generous financial support.

Benefits of membership in the Martha’s Vineyard Museum

Student ($25)

• Free admission for self

Individual ($55)

• Intelligencer and Messenger
• Free admission for self to Museum and Lighthouses
• 10% discount in shop
• Reduced ticket price for lectures/programs

Family ($75)

• Individual plus:
• Free admission for household to Museum and Lighthouses

Sustaining ($125)

• Family plus:
• Two (2) guest passes

The above membership levels are 100% tax deductible

The following membership levels are tax deductible except for the value of the books

Patron ($250)

• Sustaining plus:
• Four (4) guest passes
• Choice of one (1) MVM publication from list (e.g. Ghost & Grasshopper, Riv & Ruth) (Shipping and handling not included.)  E-mail frontdesk@mvmuseum.org for a list of available books.

Benefactor ($500)

• Patron plus:
• Six (6) guest passes
• Sail aboard Vanity

President’s Circle ($1,000)

• Benefactor plus:
• Eight (8) guest passes
• Choice of two (2) MVM publications from list

Leadership ($2,500)

• President’s Circle plus:
• Free admission to lectures/programs

Steward ($5,000)

• Leadership plus:
• Use of Museum campus after hours for private party (staff will not plan or cater party, but will provide coverage.)

Membership Levels:

• $150 Business Member with all benefits as listed below, plus free passes for six people
• $250 Business Partner with all benefits as listed below, plus free passes for ten people
• $500 Business Leader with all benefits as listed below, plus free passes for fifteen people and an active link on the MVM site to your website

Martha's Vineyard Museum Membership Application:
Membership application forms are by simply clicking onto Membership Form.You can fill out the form and either mail the form directly to the MVM or email it to the Development Office and Susan Wilson. Mrs. Wilson can be reached by email at or by phone at 508-627-4441, ext. 117.

In addition to receiving admission to the Museum Campus and assorted MVM publications, members' contributions to the Martha's Vineyard Museum are tax-deductible (except for $15 to cover distribution costs of the Intelligencer).
