From the Museum's founding
in 1922, the support of dedicated members has been crucial to the growth of the
organization, the fulfillment of its mission, and in the establishment of a shared
strategic vision. Determined to preserve the history of the Island, members have
contributed to the MVM through the decades by the volunteering of their time,
by the donation of family papers, rare photographs, and artifacts, and through
their generous financial support.
In addition to discounts on programs, all members receive:
- Free admission to the Museum and Lighthouses for one full year
- 10% discount on purchases at the Museum Shop
- Free subscription to our newsletter, the Messenger and our journal, The Dukes County Intelligencer
Student $25 - Free admission for self
Individual $55 - reduced ticket price for lectures and programs
Family $75 - Free admission for household to the Museum and Lighthouses
Sustaining $125 - Two guest passes
Patron $250 - Four guest passes and your choice of one Museum publication
Benefactor $500 - Six guest passes plus a sail aboard our catboat, Vanity
President’s Circle $1,000 - Eight guest passes, a sail aboard Vanity with the Executive Director, plus your choice of two Museum publications
Leadership $2,500 - Free admission to lectures and programs
Steward $5,000 - Use of the Museum campus for your private party
Your membership contribution is tax-deductible within the IRS guidelines.
Business Member $150 - All regular membership benefits plus free admission to the Museum and lighthouses for one employee and three guests, plus a listing in the Museum Annual Report.
Business Supporter $500 - Two unlimited admission passes for the Musuem and the Lighthouses, plus four guest passes and a business link on the Museum's website.
Business Partner Begin at $2,500 and individualized benefits include your logo link on our website, access for special events, sponsorship opportunities and other choices tailored to your goals.
